TomDSL411
I am having a difficult time, finding the shipping zones Modules, Features . What I a wanting to do is to split up the United States in 8 different zone areas-with a pull down menu, that, you have to select your state, and then it will show you your shipping cost, in percantage of their total order. After you are finished shopping. Or I would like to do it by your zip codes, if their is any way possible, and if it would be easer. I would like to do all of my shipping by percentage. Then if the order is under a certain amount, it will have a certain flat rate charge fore shipping. Is there any way that you cane help me in figuring out how to set this all up in an easy way. Thank you for your time.
Noobish-n-stuff
if you are looking for just a zip code shipping solution, Fedex Zip Zones is a good contribution. it doesn't use percentages though. you might be able to modify the tables it uses to do what you want though. (no zip code selection required, it uses the one from the shiping address)
TomDSL411
How about UPS that the i use for Ground shipping?
Noobish-n-stuff
if you downloaded the contribution, you'll see a couple of excel files in there. i would just modify those tables to fit with what UPS has in their book. (if you have a ups account you have the tables book)

TomDSL411
Ok I look at the Table Rate and i Play around with it that what i need. i would like to have it in Price and i set it to that work good. Now i like to Change the Price to have it in Percantage like 13%? How can i add Percantage to it? Shipping Table The shipping cost is based on the total cost or weight of items. Example: 25:8.50,50:5.50,etc.. Up to 25 charge 8.50, from there to 50 charge 5.50, etc --------------------------------- 25:8.50,50:5.50,10000:0.
redearthdesign
if you are looking for just a zip code shipping solution, Fedex Zip Zones is a good contribution. it doesn't use percentages though. you might be able to modify the tables it uses to do what you want though. (no zip code selection required, it uses the one from the shiping address) Have you come across anyone who has done something very similar to Fedex Zip Zones but for USPS? I have looked around and the closest I can see to something like this is the MultiGeoZone MultiTable contribution, which is great, but uses states. I'd like to use zips like the Fedex Zip Zone contribution so we can update the shipping rates according to the USPS zone charts, which are done by zip: http://postcalc.usps.gov/zonecharts/ We'll probably put something together like this inspired by both of those great contributions, but don't want to reinvent the wheel if someone already has done something similar, so just seeing if anyone happens to know of one that I didn't come across. Best wishes, Emma
