plovell66
Hi all, I have oscommerce installed and I'm looking for some affordable templates. I need 5 different templates for a project I'm working on. Must be easy to implement into the oscommerce shop. Does anyone know where I can find a template that I can implement myself. I've searched google and all I find is sites that want to do it for you for 200.00 and up. I've found a few templates but they are 80.00 and up. I need some that are much cheaper. Your help is appreciated. Thanks in advance. ------------------------------------------- Patrick Lovell ~ Founder The Lovell Technology Network
jpf
If you want cheaper - then make one. Many changes can be done by your self - just using the CSS. Change colors, text type/size, add backround pics (which you would have to provide). Then add a simple change to the default buttons (to match your site colours/theam). There is your "template". Many of these "commecial" templates - all you get is the CSS and the custom graphics - somthing you can do your self - with a little work. If you don't want to/don't have time/can't wait - then the $80-200 is not a bad price.
wizardsandwars
I think that there are a few free templates that come with the BTS template structure contribution. I guess it depends on what you're looking for in a template. Just color and font, and some background image changes can be done with a new stylesheet pretty easily, and cheaply. But when I think of a template, I think of a whole new design and layout, which is really quite a bit of work to do in OSC, and I would think that $200 is pretty cheap. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTE: As of Oct 2006, I'm not as active in this forum as I used to be, but I still work with osC quite a bit. If you have a question about any of my posts here, your best bet is to contact me though either Email or PM in my profile, and I'll be happy to help.
