Loosing graphics and style sheet on clients

I have tried viewing my locally installed osCommerce site. It is on a Linux box with Apache. The web pages viewed from other clients machines including (Windows, Linux or MacOSX) have a problem with viewing graphics and style sheet instructions. The following link are the permissions on my default osc installation. Can someone enlighten me on the cause of the problem?

have you checked the server access log and err log files to see what is happening? a link to the site may be helpful also . ..

 

try using a different program for ftp of the images.

Because of the situation with my ISP, my server is not accessible to the internet. When I get a chance in the next few days I will try to enable it to the internet. In the mean time, I made a screen shot of what the client machine is receiving.

You might check your configuration file to make sure there are no references to localhost. A browser on another computer on the network would be unable to resolve that. Your config files should reference the same name one of your network computers would use to find it.
