dumb_question
Hi there ... can you guys tell me if I would infringe any SEO rules by creating a site wholely and solely HTML based with a certain name , say, www.abc.com and create links from this site to my oscommerce based main site with the different domain name...www.xyz.com. can someone tell me if this has any implications. i know this might sound pretty basic to the most of you guys but I have no clue . ScooterProShop.com
It will only help you as long as the "other" site was relative and higher ranked than the site your pointing to. Total uptime and the popularity of ... the referring link helps SEO. If you forward from domain to domain via refresh code .. then yes that is not good SEO practices. (use a link on that website and allow surfers to click on it.) Banner ect ... If you point multiple domains at 1 server .. that is ok, but not necessary for SEO, since both domain names have the same content. Hope this helps! We hired an SEO Service today!
