Credit Card Validation

Hi

 

have downloaded contributionCVV and installed it on MS1, as i could not get it to work on MS2.

 

However when you get to the checkout stage there is no CVV, start date or issue number field at all. PLus in the Admin > Modules > Payment > CC all I have is big blank spaces down the right column (I guess there should be something there). Also when I click the edit button, I get lots of text box fields but with no description of what they are.

 

However the credit card blacklist does appear to work.

 

What have I done wrong. Plus out of interest will MS3 have start date, issue number and CVV, as (dont know about the rest of the world) but in the UK you must now supply type of credit card, issue number, start & expiry date and CVV. Obviously if you dont have these details you cannot make the transaction.

 

So can someone help me please.

Okay I was in a bit of a rush the first time, I might make more sense now.

 

Credit card validation and verification.

 

I downloaded CCCVV_ISSUE_START Selectable with card blacklist (View contribution) and installed it on a clean version of osCommerce 2.2 MS1, I found that it created new fields in the Admin > Modules > Payment > Credit Card section but there was no description of what each text box meant.

 

In the shop itself where you have to enter your credit card details, there no were no new text boxes either for issue number, cvv etc.

 

I am also running MS2 and would like to install it on there, if I can get it to work first on MS1.

 

Has anybody else who downloaded and followed the installation details found that it does not work, or is it just me. Plus does anyone have a solution to this and is it possible to install it on MS2.

 

Also, purely out of interest will CVV, Issue Number, start date and card type be added to the next MS update?
