lamont_jonathan
Hi, I realise that everybody could go to my web site and add in address ...../catalog/admin and configure my oscommerce... How can I fix that probleme. Is there a security or a protection like a password I can have before acces admin function for my catalog??? Thanks Jon
k_budiarto
Try this: http://phpuserlogin.oxyscripts.com/download.php
OceanRanch
You also could use the standard apache .htaccess files to secure your admin area (no logos and free  ) Here's a good post on doing that http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?sho...=0entry263327 HTH
Addy
Unfortunately the URL http://phpuserlogin.oxyscripts.com/download.php isn't working. Did I understand correctly that the .htaccess isn't working on Windows servers? Because my ISP uses a windows 2000 server, and I think it's not using the .htaccess. The only solution I have, is the above mentioned link (I guess). Does anyone know the correct location...?
OceanRanch
If your ISP is running Windows IIS webserver then the .hataccess files won't work. However the standard IIS "protections" can be applied. Check with your host provider on IIS user names and paaswords under Windows. Apache does run under Windows BTH.
