Hi,

Like Products Attributes where we can define different attributes of the products by a pull down menu, can we do the same for different currency?

 

I have set prices for UK pounds, US Dollars and Euro dollars but I don't want to create 3 small stores featuring same products. Is there a way where customes can view the set prices I have entered by a simple pull down menu for UK, UK and Euro dollars?

Customers should be able to select their preferred currency at the bottom of the right column.

Do You have something like this in admin panel under localization currencies

This gives the price for each currency, vaues can be altered to alter price.

My store has fixed prices for US, UK and rest of Euro countries.

ignore the   did not get the edit done in time.

 

the currency converter can be used to manipulate the price as the values set are multipliers of the default rate.

 

so you have a default of $1 and want ?2.50 set gb to 2.5 etc.

What u gave me, changed all the prices

 

I have over 175 products with fixed prices for 3 different currencies. I just need to know if there is anyway I can just enter the fixed prices without making 3 diffrent shopping pages.

Ok so this is 1 product with a selection of sizes that have fixed prices in three currencies try defining an addition in your product attributes in admin

Its working but now I got a whole new problem now

 

It now gives me a check box for Euro prices and UK prices, And US $ being the default currency

 

NOW when I add 10 qty of product in Euro dollars (price for euro is 5.25)

the shopping cart total is $97.00 s

should it not be $50.25

I entered Euro, US, and UK under currency as value of 1

 

Also my Second problem is that I can't get multiple cross reference of the product.

 

e.g., I want the customers to pick the available sizes and then pick the currency

product a size 8" $5.25 5.0 $4.0

 

Are you following the example? I want customers to pick the size they want and then the currency. How can they cross reference.

I see were you are coming from, however if the currencies are defined so as to auto the price, then someone picks the size and the +value adds the difference on to the base price

I already have assigned the prices for the different sizes. I just need a method to allow the customers to pick and choose their size and the currency.

This is a bad example as the products are entered individually.

 

Yes the customer can search by different catagories, however I do not see a product with a pull down menu for size selection and price

Then how do i give the option for customers to choose the size thats available and also give the price thats associated with the size and at the same time allow them to pay in EURO, $ or UK????

Can a customer choose a product in a size and choose to pay in ?

then choose another product and size and choose to pay in $

then choose another product and size and choose to pay in euro

thus in the cart are 3 products in different sizes with different currencies?

Thats the problem I am having.

when u told me about the pricing attribute. I went in and addedd all the sizes I have now when I have a product with a different size availale I can just add them

 

I did the same for the currencies too

 

But when I view the catalog, I can see at the bottom, available options

and it gives all the three currencies which is perfect

 

but it does not give any sizes that I added

 

and then i m wondering if i can resolve that and if it does allow multiple sizes, how will the customer can pick the size and then the price to go with it?

This is done in a similar basis to a product being value, deluxe, or premium they are three values or sizes each with a different price.
