Button problem

Hi

I cant get any images to display where my buttons are.

E.g cart, checkout, buy now just show an empty box with an x in it.

I've even found some of the gif image file in the

http://localhost/catalog/includes/language...ton_reviews.gif image file

 

yet It still wont display on the os site.
