information_unlimited contribution

HELP! l am trying to install information_unlimited, and am onto the third step which tell you to add the following info to the:

 

includes/application_top.php:

 

(cut and paste follows)

 

// Module: Information Unlimited

require(DIR_WS_MODULES . 'information.php');

 

l've managed to do all the others fine, but everytime l paste this code anywhere in the file, it gives me a white screen when l refresh my osc site. l've tried adding spaces, used the little square boxes (what are these!?) that l've seen elsewhere in the code, but l am obviously doing something wrong. Can someone point out exactly where in this file l should paste it without it crashing my site?

oh great, have just discovered l've lost my admin page too, have replaced them all with backed up files, but still not there :o
