well i my cpanel has a auto oscommerce script install, and i set user name and pass word upon installing the script. does this help?

i have a feeling that you use ipowerweb.com...

 

if so, log into your cpanel (just like when you installed OSC) and under file manager you see a section called databases. from there you would go to database administration. then change whatever you want for any particular user you want.
