Unable to alter files in Tools section

Hey People,

 

All of a sudden, the only file I can get access to is the 'english.php' file. I cant access any of the other files under the 'TOOLS' section.

 

For example, the message I get is;

 

Error: I can not write to this file. Please set the right user permissions on: /home/interact/public_html/catalog/includes/languages/english/checkout_confirmation.php

 

I go into the admin section and change the permissions but I still get the same error message!

 

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated!
