I'm using OsCommerce 2.2MS2 and i want to use the oscommerce payment module for the on-line payments with credit cards. I want to let my customers can pay with the 4 most used credit cards (VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, DINERS). 1) Is there someone who can explain to me how to relate the payment module to my account in the bank ? 2) Do you think i will have to take care of the security of the transactions too? ogee Posted December 5, 2003 Share Posted December 5, 2003 Hi, 1. you need either a merchant account or a contract with a credit card clearing company. Ask your bank they will have a prefered option or citibank or B&S. Generally, you need to prove your business is registered (at least in Germany you do). Make sure you state its for internet commerce. 2. Yes. You must keep the data secure and confidential. Rule of thumb. Treat the data as if it was your card details!
