orionnt Posted December 4, 2003 Posted December 4, 2003 im gettgin my store setup and im currently in the process of configuring my shipping. Since my business is new i will be shipping the majority of my products by drop shipping them, so i need for the shipping to comeout realtivley close to that of my distributor who ships via UPS. They told me that thereshipping is calculated based on weight and dimensions of the package, but i see the OSC doesnt have a place for product dimensions or any of that. Any suggestions of how i can get my shipping to come out either equal or more than my distributors so that i do not lose money on the shipping?
Guest Posted December 10, 2003 Posted December 10, 2003 Unless your packages will be abnormally bulky for their weight, UPS only cares about the weight. Each package weight is given a certain "maximum dimension," anything larger than that costs extra. They're pretty generous on that.
