Is there a way to set which pages are secure and which are not.

When I login I wnat to be taken to a nonsecure page and I only want the checkout to secure.

Thanks in advance for any help.

to be more clear

I want only checkout_shipping.php checkout_payment.php checkout_confirmation.php and checkout_success.php to be secure the rest can be nonsecure.

Like now when you login it takes you to secure default page, for what reason?

I only need the checkout to be secure. :)

You have to place the whole oscommerce in a non secured web site (no https) and only the checkout_shipping.php checkout_payment.php checkout_confirmation.php and checkout_success.php you place in the web site you have certificate of (so in the secured web site).

Go to wiki to see how you link to external pages (because now the secured pages are no longer inside your oscommerce folder structure).

P.S. why don't you want everything to be in a secured site? Does no harm anyway...

I personaly would not leave personal information (account creation) on a non-secure page

I totally agree. If you bought yourself a certificate anyway ... make full use of it. Your customers would feel saver that way as well.
