ddesatnik Posted December 4, 2003 Share Posted December 4, 2003 Hi, I have seen a word or two around this board about creating MySQL indexes to increase performance and was wondering if anybody has done any MySQL indexing on OSC databases. My problem is that overall, the site performance is fine except for the administration section when navigating the product catalog structure and when adding products - the site really moves slowly and takes on average 2-3 minutes to add a new product. I have read about creating MySQL indexes as a fix but this seems like a lot of work so I was wondering if anybody has done this already and if so, has this helped solve the speed/performance problems? Also, maybe somebody else has a suggestion other than creating MySQL indexes to increase performance of the administration section of the OSC site? Thank you!
