Guest
hello all, i have been trying to alter my login page as found here: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=31021&st=40 ( delaen post) i have been in contact with delaen and he said what i have been doing is fine, and nothing is wrong with the code. now the problem is i am now getting a blank page. no errors or anything like that, just a blank page. it looks like the php info is being passed along because i can see it in the URL string. does anyone have any idea where to start looking? i know it could be so many problems. thanks so much

Guest
what do your server logs show, both the access and the error log? are you using unix? if so, you can have a shell open and use tail -f whateverlog and then in a browser access the page in question, then you can follow through what the site is being told to access
Guest
I had the same problem. The problem is in your configure.php file. One or more of your roots are not pointing in the right directory. You are not getting an error because there is nothing that is getting an error, it's just blank because nothing is there to cause an error. If you view the source, you will see some tags like <title> and stuff but not your page. Open your config file and make sure all of the directories are correct. If you can't find it, just upload your install directory and re-install osCommerce. But when you install, uncheck where it asks if you want to upload the database files. If you uncheck it, it won't change any of your settings/products/etc., but it will configure your config file for you. Thats the easiest way if you can't find the error. I've had to do this several times as I was customizing the script. B)
