nature Posted December 3, 2003 Posted December 3, 2003 I recently wrote a new InterShipper module that I'm currently testing. I based it on the existing usps.php module. From looking at the code and implementation it doesn't appear that much has been done with calculating actual box size (or multiple box sizes for more than one container). Am I missing something in the code or is this a fairly true statement? I'm not very familiar with osC so it's quite likely I just missed something. If not, are there any plans to work towards more accurate package quotes (size/weight)? Has anyone done work of the sort. Message me if you are intersted in the new Intershipper module. Thanks,
mugitty Posted December 4, 2003 Posted December 4, 2003 Doug; You might find some of the work already done in the UPSXML contribution http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1323 and the packaging data that was created to complement it http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1442 ... if you want to REALLY see something that doesn't set up right out of the box without some tweaking, try being a Foster Parent!
