How to get rid of these pls?

when i click the main category on the left, i can see the category page in the middle.

 

however, there is two meaningless // in the page. i suspect that is the result of mistake made when i edited some pages before. yet i really can't recall which page i should go to edit that.

 

also, since i have deleted the 'new products in December' box in the main page, may i know how to get rid of the title bar on the bottom.

Look in catalog/includes/header.php

Did you comment out the 3 images in top right corner?

yes, i did remove that 3 icons in the top right since right down below, there are the same text link already. i want to put something different there later.

 

the '// for top right corner ' is just a reminder of the line location in the header.php file for me when i have to add something there later. i can just put something new and replace that '// for top right corner '.

 

however, Bear, my problem is the '//' in the catagory page as shown in the screenshot in my first post. Do you really mean that header.php is the file whcih i can go and remove that '//'?

Make sure you are using the correct remark statements.

"//" for php sections and "<!--" "-->" for html
