Trying to Configure Verisign Payflow Link

I'm trying to install the Verisign Payflow Contribution but the directions are sketchy at best. I can drool longer than the time it takes to read the directions. Can someone explain this in more plain english?

.BASIC INSTALLATION

Copy the cc_via_verisign.php files from the catalog directory into their corresponding directories.

 

You may want to edit includes/modules/languages/english/modules/payment/verisign_link.php to change the order description

 

Make sure to set your return url as "POST" and set it to verisignreturn.php

 

For testing purposes:

  1) Use your payflow manager to place your account in test mode.

  2) Use any of the test card numbers listed in the Help section of your payflow manager. 4012888888881881 worked well for me, but the 41111... number did not.

  3) Use a valid date for the card expiration.

  4) Do NOT include a Card Verification  Number when you are testing.

 

Payflow Manager Setup

 

I set the Return URL to verisignreturn.php, it will automatically redirect the customer to checkout_success.php.  One of the testers let me know that you can set the Return Url to checkout_success.php with a silent post to verisign_return.php.  They seem to both work, but I recommend the first.

I also tried other versions but they were old...and yet still lacked directions...
