need a features guide

Hello to community!

I am very new there, just installed my catalog .. wanted to ask help to find the "must" features from all this contribution sea .

Please instruct me what are most usefull and helpfull features.

 

I'd like to make my catalog more interactive with users such as:

- votes (the site, the store and products)

- recommend to friends

- most popular products and product rate

- guest book

- manage store news, articals and sales announcement

- mass email to all users

- automatic happy birthday email to user

- etc. ...

.... do I what too much ?

The documentation effort is at wiki.oscommerce.com/docs. For other things that you want to do, you will find in the Contributions area (there is a link at the top of this page in the gray bar). Others might require custom coding.
