peteoheat Posted December 2, 2003 Posted December 2, 2003 I'm very new to osCommerce and found it whilst looking for at the commercial offerings. I'm simply blown away by how complete the product is already, and by the amount of contributions available. Each time I think "it would be great if it could do ...." a quick search finds just the contribution I need! I'm still a little uncertain as to what I'm allowed to do under the GPL, but believe it amounts to the fact that I can removed any mention of osCommerce from the customer facings pages as long as the look of the website is sufficiently changed from the default. But I must leave the copyright messages within the code and the admin pages". Please correct me if I'm wrong. I wish to do the above, and also make a small fiscal contribution to the further development of osCommerce. I've had a good look around the site but I can't find any mention of how to do this. Do you take fiscal contributions at all? Pete O Heat
Guest Posted December 2, 2003 Posted December 2, 2003 The individual developers accept contributions via the methods outlined at http://www.oscommerce.com/about/team (different for each developer). Hth, Matt
blueline Posted December 9, 2003 Posted December 9, 2003 The development team will start to integrate osCommerce with various contributions in the MS 4 release. This is still a ways away. -Chris Chris Sullivan
