not able to install oscommerc

hello everybody,

 

I followed the instructoins from :

but i keep getting the following error messages:

 

 

Warning: main(includes/functions/general.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/html/shopnetca/catalog/install/includes/application.php on line 21

 

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'includes/functions/general.php' (include_path='/wwwroot/php/lib/php') in /var/www/html/shopnetca/catalog/install/includes/application.php on line 21

 

hosting the application on my own server.

have a my own domain name

os - mandrake 9.2

and apache, php, and mysql are all new and there tested and wokring...

any ideas to why this is happening

a couple of things first, your link is incorrect, you need to have it as voyager.com

 

second, have you run phpinfo on your system?

 

third, in httpd.conf do you have index.php set in there for allowable programs?
