This contribution allow the administrator to block customers to write reviews. Administrator can write and edit reviews from the administrator panel. This contribution should be activated or disactivated from "Configuaration / MyStore" setting "Allow Customers To Write Reviews" to true or false.

I have a question for you:

 

How in the world do I apply the *.diff files?

 

I see no reference to these or how to apply them in any of the files you supplied, this is the second or third time I've seen this in a mod, which might not be your mods, but nothing to tell how to apply them.

 

Would you please explain this?

using a diff programs from linux / unix.

maybe there will be a porting (diff.exe or patch.exe) to windows.

I made the changes described in your contributions. Everything went well except the page product_reviews_info.php in which the text of contribution doesn't appear, the name of who wrote the contribution is changed with a letter only and the images of product and cotation doesn't appear, the date too.

 

I don't know what's happened. Could you give me an ideea?

Hello again,

 

I solve the problem due to the post I found on http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?sho...=0entry287691. It is not your fault, it's just a bug that appears when you put the reviews box in the left colum.

look at modified languages files, all language addings are betweew

Hello, Is there a chance you could mail me the changes you made to the catalog/index.php ?

 

I dont use a "clean" version of OsC (have added 3 other contribs).

Is that in the catalog/index.php or the catalog/includes/boxes/categories.php file?

Wanted to use this contrib, but after trying for 2 hours to get patch working with the program, I was unsuccessful.

 

Would have appreciated even the remotest suggestions about what variables to run with patch etc.

I've installed the Reviews pages and uploaded them to the server. But I don't see a way to add a review from the administrator panel. What am I missing?
