licensed2kill Posted December 2, 2003 Posted December 2, 2003 To my knowledge, there is no way (so far) osC can auto select the currency based on the "to" shipping Country at the check out to calculate the taxes in the native currency. So, my store's is in Canada,,,,,,, so is that ok if I charge tax in US $s for Canadian customers if they chose to shop in "US $" which is my default? Of course the math will make sense, BUT, it'll be a hassle for me when filing taxes. How about the legal issues? Appreciate the inputs.
Guest Posted December 2, 2003 Posted December 2, 2003 not sure if this is what you mean, but check out this: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1124
Jeremy at oddly enough Posted December 2, 2003 Posted December 2, 2003 There is a way to force just the checkout in a specific currency, if you do a search for that, and with an extra line to indentify those from Canada you could try doing that. Jeremy
licensed2kill Posted December 2, 2003 Author Posted December 2, 2003 Please don't suggest that I do more search. You think I'm a lamer like some people who post questions w/o proper home work done?
