FedEx Curl and Authorize.net

so... almost, almost done with our store. We just have two problems that I'm pretty sure would be easy if I know what I was doing ;>

For FedEx, when that part of the shopping cart loads during checkout, I'm consistantly getting a message that says

"No response to CURL from Fedex server, check CURL availability, or maybe timeout was set too low, or maybe the Fedex site is down"

I've gone into my shell, done which curl, put the path into the options for the fedex module, and raised the timeout limit to 60 (though it doesn't seem to be waiting that long).

Ideas?

Also, we're finally set up for a merchant account. I got a transaction key from authorize.net, put it into the authorize.net module, put in the login name that I use at the authorize.net website, and I'm getting:

"This server could not verify that you are authorized to access the document requested. Either you supplied the wrong credentials (e.g., bad password), or your browser doesn't understand how to supply the credentials required."

whimper.

any and all suggestions gratefully accepted.

Best

  • 4 weeks later...

I've got the same problem with the Fedex Direct module on our brand new MS2 store -- keep getting the curl error message. Have the right account number, have checked with our hosting service and they swear curl is properly installed and working (it also shows up in phpInfo). I've tried it with the path to curl specified and with NONE in that box -- nothing works. Everything else in the store is working including UPS and USPS.

Anyone have any ideas on what to try to get this to work or find out where the problem is?
