Guest
Hi, this is my first post.... I am having problem editing php files, for example english.php. If I were to open the file for edit using the admin tool, even if I don't make any changes, simply open and save the file, I get parse error when I go to my site in the customer side, stating parse error in line 79. I also get "warning, cannot modify header information....." if I try to buy something. I am aware of the space after php file thing, there are no space at the end of the file after ?> However, I was able to get a fresh copy of that english.php file and replace it with the one that I already modified, that solves the problem. Now, I download the file on my computer, edit it using notepad and upload it again....that is a pain. Is there a better way? Why does the admin file editor cause the parse error by simply opening and saving the file??? (no modification what soever). Please help.....it took me an hour to figure out the above.....
