reset the order/factoring count?

i have done a few test sale, and now i would like to set my store online, but my accountant, or whatever its called, says to me that i should definitely change the order countr from 47 like it is now.

Til either 01 or 1001, if someone knows howto do this, please help a fella :)

You should be able to go into your database using myphpadmin and change it in the orders table

please help a fella, im supposed to open up my store tomorrow, but i by accountant says to me that i need to get the factoruing number reset before that, it says 1042 now, but i want it to say 1000, thanx for all the help i can get...

With phpMyAdmin you would do it with the following steps:

 

1. Select your oscommerce database.

2. Select your orders table.

3. Click on the Options tab.

4. Look for your current auto_increment number (1043 or whatever) and change it.

 

Note: make sure that you delete all the orders from the database before *decreasing* this number. Otherwise, the DB will get confused.

hmm, still cant seem to solve it, i have done exactly like you told, but the factouring / order number i have aint there... please help
