danjfoley Posted November 28, 2003 Share Posted November 28, 2003 Here is the situation: new user click on check. then clicks on the new user registration, goes thru the new user registration process, when done gets the page that says an email was sent to them and to click on the continue button. At this point my url is: https://www.productsdirectinc.com/dakotariv...unt_success.php after clicking on the continue button, i get a 404 not found error, and the url is as follows: https://www.productsdirectinc.com/catalog/shopping_cart.php As you can see the problem is with the SSL path. The second url is incorrect. IT should have the "dakotariverknives.com" directory in it. But it doesn't. So what do I do and how do i fix this? I also get a Javascript error, not sure if this has anything to do with this. By the way I have STS latest version installed. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
LiQuIdAiR Posted November 28, 2003 Share Posted November 28, 2003 make sure that in your configure.php files both in the catalog/includes section and the admin/includes section are both pointing to the correct location.... many times installing the cart on a self served server doesn't allow the cart to read correctly the directories that must be installed... hope ive been helpful.. And if paths were not correct.. it wouldn't even go into ssl mode at all.. but it DOES go into ssl mode when you press the check out button and goes thru the whole new user registration in ssl mode just fine untill you are done with new user registration and get the continue error..
