how to remove left and right boxes...

Hi all

 

 

I was wonder what is the proper way to remove some of the boxes properly?? I need to get rid of the manufacturers and the language boxes for now. I didnt see a way in the admin to not show these boxes.

catalog/includes/column_right and column_left and comment out the ones you don't want.

For example: //require(manufacturer)......
