Help! Fatal Error installing USPS Methods v2.6

I'm using 2.2 MS2 and I just installed USPS Methods v2.6. When I opened up my site, I got the following error message:

 

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare tep_set_banner_status() (previously declared in /home/chiquiti/www.scrapbookfarm.com/docs/includes/functions/general.php:694) in /home/chiquiti/www.scrapbookfarm.com/docs/includes/functions/banner.php on line 15

 

I'm a newbie and not sure what this means. I did not make any changes to the banner.php file while installing the USPS shipping method.

 

I wanted to open my store this weekend - anyone out there know how to point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance.
