Guest Posted November 26, 2003 Posted November 26, 2003 Im trying to use USPS shipping as a method on the store. I have added the account info needed , but when testing , in the check out , it shows USPS as a method but it wont let you choose it and it has a error written underneath it stating:::: An error occured with the USPS shipping calculations. If you prefer to use USPS as your shipping method, please contact the store owner. Im not sure if I have this set up wrong or is there a set of things we need to do to turn it on. Please help.

Include your userid in the e-mail...You should get a mail back saying something like this Dear USPS Customer, Congratulations on completing your testing using the U.S. Postal Service's Internet Shipping Application Program Interfaces (APIs). Your profile has been updated to allow you access to the Production Server. 1. The Production Server URL is: production.shippingapis.com. 2. There is a line of code that refers to "shippingapitest.dll". You'll need to remove the word test. Thank you for using the USPS Shipping APIs. USPS Internet Customer Care Center [email protected] 800-344-7779 7:00AM - 11:00PM EST After this the shipping calculator should work great --and then a whole lot of other problems will start... :rolleyes:
Guest Posted November 26, 2003 Posted November 26, 2003 I did get that email and plugged in that info to the site. But after testing I Still get that error. So im not sure what else to do. Any idea?
