aaronsbox7 Posted November 25, 2003 Share Posted November 25, 2003 i'm not sure if i'm trying to do more than i'm allowed or what but when i try to make changes to our site this error message comes up: ?(example)Error: I can not write to this file. Please set the right user permissions on:/var/www/html//catalog/account.php i'm trying to change the background, add images, and touch up a few other things to make it look more appealing to our customers. any info you can provide would be most helpful. thnx. eHo Posted November 25, 2003 Share Posted November 25, 2003 Sometimes you will have to CHMOD to 777 or 744 to write to a file. Give that a shot but remember to change it back to its orignal state so you don't have any security problems. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
