In file manager I wish to write my html text for privacy.php and would like to add my address on contcat_ us.php page.

 

I can see the where I need to put my html text but I am not allowed to do so!

 

The red message in the box above says:

Error: I can not write to this file. Please set the right user permissions on: /home/ghelling/public_html/webstore/includes/languages/english/contact_us.php

 

 

Can anyone advise what I need to do as I can not see how to alter permissions?

You need to CHMOD that file to 777 (write).

 

You can use a simple FTP program as CuteFTP or BulletProof FTP to do it.

 

Just remember to change it back to read only after you are done.
