Display reviews only if exist?

I've got a new shop up, and have found that customers are clicking on the "reviews" button to read reviews about products that I have for sale.

But, since I'm a new shop, there aren't any reviews, and I won't add fake ones.

Has anyone figured out a snippet of coding that would work to query the database to see if a review exists, and if it does, then and only then it displays the reviews button.

Review exists = review button

No reviews = no reviews button.

I figure a database query and if statement would work?

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Can anyone help me with this?

I only want the "reviews" button to show if there is a review on a particular item. Otherwise, it is a waste of a click for a customer.

Thoughts?
