Folder That Contain Pages To Update For New Styles

Hello everyone again,

 

Can someone give me a small list of where the files are that I will be able to change stuff for the style of the pages? And the pictures and text as well, I should do ok after I know where all these files are located?

You can start with "catalog/stylesheet.css." That file contains alot of the color and style of the site.

 

Other than that you will have to edit each page manually to suite your needs.

 

Inside of "catalog/includes/" you will find the header.php and footer.php as well. That controls the top and bottom of the site.

 

My suggestion if you want to do any theme changes, use CSS to give everything an ID and do some grunt work on each page so that way you can update everything in your "stylesheet.css"

Yes, that helpped me a lot. Yes, I am going to be doing some theme changing. Then I need to figure out some of the links and takeing off some of the side bars like the new product list on the side or Manufacturers and be able to move the quick find up more. Thank you again. This helps a lot.

First off, you're welcome.

 

Second, if you are looking at changing the side boxes, you can do it in "catalog/includes/column_left.php (or column_right.php)"

 

If you need to change any of the links or text, you can do it in "catalog/includes/languages/(language of your choice)"

 

I am more than happy to help with theme changes, I did quite a bit of change to my cart so I am just looking at giving back whatever I can to the community.
