justal Posted November 24, 2003 Posted November 24, 2003 When I installed osCommerce, I didn't enable SSL, but would like to now... Is it simply a case of editing the configure.php file or is there more to it than that??.... What do I need to do? Thanks. Alan
Guest Posted November 25, 2003 Posted November 25, 2003 Yes, in the catalog includes/configure.php, change ENABLE_SSL to true and set all the HTTPS defines appropriately. In admin, do the same, plus change HTTP_SERVER to use the https:// URL instead of the http:// URL. Hth, Matt
justal Posted November 25, 2003 Author Posted November 25, 2003 Thanks Matt... I'm trying to find out if my server has SSL enabled first though!!! :( Al

Hth, Matt Umm when you say set all HTTPS defines appropriately, what are the HTTPS defines and what exactly is appropriately?
