Lynda Posted November 24, 2003 Posted November 24, 2003 Please help! I've installed oscommerce. When I go to the oscommerce administration page I can't get into any of the actions (configurations, catolog, customer...) It just shows up as "404 Page not found." Any suggestions on what went wrong?
dchockenberry Posted November 24, 2003 Posted November 24, 2003 404 Not Found means your file directory isn't matching the one you typed into your web browser to go to your admin. Be sure the URL that you are trying to log into matches the directory of your admin. For example, mine is set as: http://mydomain.com/shop/admin/ Basically it means you are trying to view a page that doesnt exist.

dchockenberry Posted November 24, 2003 Posted November 24, 2003 perhaps your ssl settings aren't properly configured...I'm not an expert on those because since I only offer paypal and money order payments I just ignored it and disabled SSL....I dont accept credit cards without paypal sorry I cant be of more help but there are posts about SSL all over the place if you just search for them.
