USPS Problem Solved

Ok Gang,

Another stupid mistake. When I was comparing large packages from the USPS calculation webpage (Packages are: 26LX25.5WX13.75H-27lbs, 23.5LX22.75WX9.75H-18lbs and 24LX22WX10H-20lbs - All Large Packages) the Parcel Post rate was wrong.

Well (For Large Packages) there is one more selection that needs to be made in the "Select any one characteristic that applies to your package" and that would be "more than 34 inches long, or 17 inches high, or 17 inches wide".

All the Large Packages are more than 17 inches wide.......

Now Parcel Post is right for all Large PacKages.

For the Small Package or Package the size is 20LX10WX4H-3lbs and the only drop down selection that applies is "Less that 6 inches long, or 3 inches high or 1/4 inch thick". I think that my Package is less that 1/4 inch thick. I would think that thick and high mean the same thing. I am taking it to mean that the box lining itself is 1/4 thick. I will call USPS tomorrow and verify, if that is what they meant by "thick". Anyway, when I make a selection ---wala--- the correct Parcel Post matches what I get on my website shopping cart (osCommerce).

Now back to UPS and try and figure why those rates are off.

Chris (wizardandwars), thank you for your patience and answering my posts. I hope that I have the same luck with UPS rates.

Peace.

Frank
