I just realized that if someone tries to add a product to the cart without first going to what OSC considers the homepage (index.php), it says the cart is empty. For example, I have ads that point to a specific product, and I also have an external .html homepage ? all of which allow the user to bypass index.php. I have concluded that index.php must be viewed in order to launch the session. Is this correct? Is there anyway to avoid this? Please help!
