How to add ORDER NO and Date to INVOICE ?

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Does any one know how to add a couple of lines of code

in the invoice.php to show the ORDER NO and Date on the

Printed Invoice ?

I tried this by borrowing the code from the Order processing Conribution

which piuts these essential info on the INVOICE without which

no one can track the order.

<tr>
       <td class="pageHeading"><?php echo nl2br(STORE_NAME_ADDRESS); ?></td>
       <td class="pageHeading" align="right"><?php echo tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES . 'oscommerce.gif', 'osCommerce', '204', '50'); ?></td>
       <!-- <td class="main" align="right"><?php echo $product['company_doc_title']; ?> : <?php echo tep_db_input($oID) ?><br><?php echo TEXT_ORDER_DATE; ?><?php echo tep_date_short($shipping->info['date_purchased']); ?></td> -->

     </tr>

The prblem is the variables in the contribution are in a table

While on the subject is there anyway to MODIFY the INVOICE to

PRINT in a currecy different to the currency of sale.

For example in GBP for a sale done in USD ?

invoice.php already shows the order #. invoice # = order #....at least mine does...but then again maybe I hacked this and don't remember...and right below that is the order date....

not sure i understand your question anymore....

My Invoice and Packing Slips don't show these either - it's very silly.

Anyone know which bits of code to put where?

thanks

Jen

I haven't lost my mind - I have it backed up on disk somewhere.

FOUND IT!!!

Add this code to /admin/invoice.php whereever you want it to show up:

<!-- add Order # // -->

<a class="main"><b><a class="main">  LCN Order No: <?php echo tep_db_input($oID); ?></a><a><br>

<!-- add date/time // -->

</a>

<a class="main"><b>  Order Date:</b></a><a>

</a>

<a class="main"><?php echo tep_date_short($order->info['date_purchased']); ?><a>
