SOS Some Images Appear Thin

Hello all, I am having some trouble with displaying product images because some of them appear thinner than I had save them as. I have uploaded 100s of images and all the same size but when the are displayed in the catalog some of them appear thinner, why is this?

I had similar issues and kept tweeking the settings in Admin-Configuration->Images until I got it the way I needed it. There were also some good "threads" on image sizes etc.

 

My settings are as follows:

 

Small Image Width (blank, ie. null)

Small Image Height 100

Heading Image Width (blank, null)

Heading Image Height 60

Subcategory Image Width 0

Subcategory Image Height 57

Calculate Image Size true

mage Required false
