Date error while registering new account

hi,

when i try to register a new user i get this error:

 

Give up your day of birth in this format: DD/MM/JJJJ (bijv. 21/05/1970)

Uw geboortedatum ingeven in dit formaat: DD/MM/JJJJ (bijv. 21/05/1970)

 

the error comes no matter what. what format i use, the error comes.

 

anybody knows this problem and knows how to solve this?

willing to share the kowledge?
