Installing French Language

I downloading he french language pack from the contributions section... uploaded the files into their relevent places... aaaaaaand... what now? how to I actually install it so my shop can see the french?

Activate it in admin - "add" the language to the list and it will modify the DB settings....

 

Then go into each item you have and ADD the french discriptions and titles ect... Go into your french.php and make any changes that you have made to english.php (like store name...).

Thanks for that! I wasn't sure becaus I didn't know what to put for country code...

 

I've done all that, but I' getting this error mesage now:

whenever I try to turn to french.... :(
