Adding New Linked Fields to Product Info

Hey everyone,

 

Has anyone seen a contribution that will get me started on developing new product info fields such as KEYWORDS or such.. Just a shove in the right direction will get me started..

 

What I eventually would like to do is list the actors in the DVD and link them to thier other films. An example is in this link Women on the edge of a Nervous Breakdown..

you can do that by adding some links in product description text,

 

just type

 

<a href="http://your.link.com/blabla" target=_blank> Women on the .... </a>

 

put "target=_blank" option if you need to open the link in a new browser window

I understand linking and html and all that. What i really wanted to do was have these fields in my admin panel under product description and have them all linked via the database to automatically search for all movies by this actor and display a new page listing all movies.

 

I think i am allmost there, I have been playing around alot with the code and database but it does seem a real workaround instead of a strait foward way to do it.
