New here, need some basic advice

I just downloaded the program, now what? ;) An overview of what I am trying to accomplish. I am looking to create a basic order page for my photography web site. I want clients to be able to enter their name and address. I want them to enter an image number then select the size of the print which will have a price assosiated with it. I want them to be able to enter as many image numbers that they want. At the end I want it to total and add a fixed shipping cost and sales tax.

 

Is this possible with this software? And is it possible for me not knowing ANY programming code?

its definetly possible with the software.

 

as far as is it possible with no programming experience... thats a tough one. its not like installing a program in windows, you have edit configuration files, tweek with settings, edit php files, add contributions, and more if you want a good shop. I would say it would be very difficult and time consuming if you have no programming experience, but the search tool in the boards here is pretty good (as long as you go to the advance search) for finding answers to problems. If you don't want to spend weeks working on it your best bet is probably to hire someone to do it.
