Inferno3D Posted November 19, 2003 Posted November 19, 2003 I manually created the database and added the sample data. I made a new user for the database and set the password. Then I changed the values in config.php to reflect the correct info. When I try to acces the 'catalog' folder, it sends me straight to an installer script. If I try to add the appropriate info there, it says 'access denied' (doesn't make sense cuz I already added the database and user!!) Anybody know what I'm doing wrong? TK
jpf Posted November 20, 2003 Posted November 20, 2003 You should use the installer to create your configure.php files - if you populated your db - then specify NO to import data. Enter all required info. It will STILL make a "test" DB connection to veriy the user name/pw works. Make sure you are using MS2 version.
