kellog Posted November 19, 2003 Posted November 19, 2003 Hi, is is possible to deactivate the shopping cart functions (i.e. Add to cart, My Cart, ...) in order to simply show products (for information purposes) with osCommerce. The idea behind: Certain customers may just want to present their goods without shopping functionality and to switch later to shopping features without using a new plattform. jonah Posted November 19, 2003 Posted November 19, 2003 I have done this in the past. If I remember right all that I did remove/change anything that pointed to the shopping cart or checkout process. I hid all boxes and changed or removed all links/buttons that pertained to this. It really wasn't all that difficult. I wish I could give you better instructions, but it has been a while. Should be relatively easy though.
