Guest Posted November 19, 2003 Share Posted November 19, 2003 Hi there, Firstly let me apologise as I can imagine these questions have been asked a thousand times, and I have searched through past posts but these question relate to my individual needs. I am seeking a shopping cart for my new website (not finished yet) which when finished will be a superb (I hope) online guitar store and community (UK based). I feel that an open source would be a better option for my shopping cart solution as the support is usually great, its helping budding developers well develop, and its free :D :D Anyway, I was just wondering whether or not I would be able to integrate osCommerce with my site. Firstly, design wise... I see that osCommerce has a general template, but can be changed. Would I be able to integrate the cart with My Design easily, what would need to be done? (generally speaking) Secondly, I am planning on using WorldPay payment solutions, would osCommerce be compatable with this? And last but not least, how easy / hard is osCommerce to customise, on the scale in which I would need to ... ? Could I integrate the member system with my forum member system, so that members would not have to register twice for the website and the forum?
