Admin not working after install

Recommended Posts

After install the site seems to be working OK but when I try to access the admin section I get the following error message.

1046 - No Database Selected

select configuration_key as cfgKey, configuration_value as cfgValue from configuration

[TEP STOP]

I looked through the docs but I did not see it anywhere. Any help would be appreaciated.

The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing.

Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems?

There are many very useful osC Contributions

Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here

BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??

Check in admin/includes/configure.php, if all the values are properly filled in for database.

Thanks that was the problem. All the fields were either blank or wrong.

Well I celebrated to soon. The admin page comes up but all the admin links give me a 404 page not found.
