Changing image dimensions

Guest

Recommended Posts

I have got a wee picture in place of the counter gif on my index page, (it's not very clear, it's of a wee pug dog).... (http://shop.myonestopbeadshop.com

My problem is that the picture's dimensions have been set and I want it to be the size it is... if you see what I mean? The image at the moment is a little, squashed.... only I can't find which file holds this property...

Can anyone point me in the direction?

admin > Configuration > Images. I forget which pair holds that image though. If you leave one of the values blank, it will resize to fit the other but keep the original aspect ratio. If you set both to blank, it will use the natural size.

Did it tell you that it uploaded the image? Check that the images directory is chmod 777. Check that the path is correct in admin/includes/configure.php (remember admin loads images into the *catalog* images directory).

thanks Matt,

That worked once I enabled Calculate Image Size. Will save me a lot of work.

Any idea why those images won't show up as thumbnails in the Admin for Categories/Product pages?

Thanks
